Been So Loooonng!!

I don't even know if anyone reads this blog, but in case someone out there is, I thought I'd post something. I have been creating lots of jewelry lately. Oh yeah and knitting some too. I am about 80% done with IK Fall 2007 Tilted Duster. I am using Knit Picks WOA in lake ice heather. So far so good. It actually is a pretty fast knit too, I just knit so doggone slow that it's taking me a month to complete. I only need to complete the second sleeve and the neck band and it will be finished. I have also been knitting one of the popular Noro Striped Scarfs. I am using Noro Silk Garden and alternating 2 row stripes. Pretty cute, I must say. I am too lazy right now to add photos, but I will in the next day or two. As soon as I'm done with the Duster, it's on to Eunny Jang's Tangled Yoke Cardigan from the same IK issue.
Well, I think my bed is calling me and I find it so hard to resist. Until next time!!

Finally!!!!!

I actually finished the Deep Argyle vest about a month and a half ago. I did not post sooner because I was so disappointed that IT DOES NOT FIT! My gauge was off and obviously my math was wonky. All in all, I cannot complain about the pattern. It was so well written and gave great tips. This was my first attempt at fair isle and steeks, but this pattern made it really easy to do both. I will definitely give this another try. In the meantime, it goes into the little sister pile since she is the only one who can fit into it. I also completed some random baby items for my cousins' new baby.

I am still working (although very slowly) on the Central Park Hoodie. I have completed the back and most of the right front. If only I had more hours in the day, then I could find more time to knit. Even though I suspect no one is reading this, I will try to post more often.

WIP's

I don't seem to have as much time to update as originally hoped. Life has just been a little hectic. I am happy that I do manage to find some time to actually knit. I'm currently working on the Central Park Hoodie from Knitscene Fall 2006 (chocolate brown in KnitPicks W.O.A.). Eunny Jang's Deep Argyle Vest (moss & black in KnitPicks Merino Style). There are so many projects I want to work on, but I thought it would be better if I finish at least one of these projects first. So many fabulous patterns out there, so little time. Hopefully, I will have something completed or nearly) next time I post. I also have a few FO's (hats & scarves mostly) that I'll add next time.

Hello Everybody!

I'm Luckee, a 34 year old single gal who is fairly new to knitting.
I decided to stop lurking around on everyone else's blog and create one of my own. I'm brand spanking new to this, so please bear with me, as I am sure there will be mistakes.
